Local Lead Prospecting Panel

Open the demo

A prospecting panel for agencies selling to local business: a list of mined businesses with contact and rating, a drag-and-drop pipeline, bulk import, and the outreach message written from the lead's own data. A self-initiated, navigable demo built around the part sales tools usually skip — what you actually say when you get there.

01 / THE PROBLEM

The list is easy. The first sentence is not.

Anyone can scrape a thousand local businesses off a map. What kills the effort is the next step: someone has to open each one, figure out whether it is worth the call, and write a message that does not read like the other forty that arrived that week.

So the spreadsheet grows and nothing is sent. I wanted a panel where the list and the message live in the same place, and built the demo for it.

02 / THE APPROACH

Every lead carries the reason to call it.

The business card is not a row in a table. It carries rating, review count, neighbourhood, whether it has a site at all — the four things that decide whether this is a lead or noise. The qualifying judgement is made on the card, before anything is opened.

The pipeline is drag-and-drop across five stages, because a salesperson moves a deal while on the phone and will not stop to open a form. And the outreach message is composed from that lead's own fields, so it mentions the neighbourhood and the actual gap — the two things that make a cold message get answered.

03 / THE BUILD

Import, qualify, move, send.

Bulk import. A CSV comes in and each row becomes a card with contact, rating and location — the realistic entry point, since the mining happens outside the panel.

Board with five stages. Dragging a card between columns changes its state; the counters at the top follow along.

Settings that change the message. Tone and offer are configured once and every generated message inherits them.

The demo runs entirely in the browser on fictional data. In production this is Next.js and Postgres with a maps integration — but the whole day of a person who prospects is already here.
